Goed nieuws: Apple wil speciale accessibility emojis toevoegen! In de emojiset vind je onder andere een blindengeleidehond, hoortoestel en personen met rolstoel.
Het bedrijf opent z’n verzoek met een statement:
“Apple is requesting the addition of emoji to better represent individuals with disabilities. Currently, emoji provide a wide range of options, but may not represent the experiences of those with disabilities”
Er zijn in totaal 13 nieuwe emojis aangevraagd (voor zowel man als vrouw). Het totaal inclusief alle opties voor huidskleur wordt dan 45.
